Called the dealer today to check on the status.  The guy said the engine hasn't shipped.  I called CF Moto customer service line.  The last time I was told a HUGE shipment just came in and a lot of them were motors.  Also, I was told I should have it no later than Feb 15.  Well this time I was told they just got a HUGE shipment in and it should be here soon, but could not give a time frame.  Sooooo..... idk. 

I know there are major supply issues right now and I'm being patient.  But if you don't know, just be honest. 

Man I'm so sorry to hear this happened to your Ride. That sucks big time. But if you could lend me some advice or send me any info on this I would be most def in your debt! I just bought the zForce 950 yesterday! 2021 3miles. But hearing stuff like that makes me want to turn the trailer around and take it back lol. I popped the seat and gave it the once over but I'm not sure I found what your referring too. I've got a service guy I took my RZR 800s too, but if I can fix this fairly easy I'll do it. Thanks for the advice. And again, sry about your predicament. I think you def made the right choice tho. It's a FINE machine

Look at those pictures and it should make more sense.  You have to take off the plastic on the console, drivers side.  I wish I had mine and I would take better pictures.  I believe you could also just drop the middle skid plate to make sure the tube is on the bottom of the canister.  Let me know if that makes sense or you need anything else. 

CF Moto assured me mine should of had this already, but it did not.  So it's worth a check.

I called my dealer last week who said the engine still showed backordered.  So I call CF Moto directly who told me it was to be sent out last Friday.  They said if my dealer didn't get notified to call them back.

WELL I called the dealer this morning and it still showed backordered in their system.  So I called CF Moto who said they didn't get a motor and never had a 950.  Really confused at this point.

I'm not sure when a good time to give up would be at this point.

So I have spoke with one in the past.  The problem with it is its "he said she said" type stuff.  Since they are saying my vin is one that calls for the hose (even tho it didn't have it), I would have to prove it.  This can't be done.  That's why I finally gave up and bought the motor.  Starting to think I should have put it all together and traded it in like most of the population would do.   


When I was on the phone with them today, I also learned you only get a 30 day warranty.  This kind of sucks as I lost a lot of faith in them already.

Yeah it does! My dealer even said it seems the bigger they grow the worse their costumer service seems to be. 

So mid February has now turned into 3-4 weeks till it arrives at their warehouse.  I'm starting to think CF Moto customer service is all lip service.  The last time I called I was told it was at the warehouse and they were trying hard to get the containers unloaded.  Now 3-4 weeks to get to the warehouse.

Good news! The engine has made it to the dealer.  Dealer said they should have it ready in 2-3 days.  I'm guessing next week.

Definitely sucks..very disappointing. Bad design for sure. Guess we can also blame our own EPA for requiring such a thing on these machines in the first place. I see others are required to have one too but theirs look like there are things in place that prevent ingestion of that kind of stuff...extra check valves, plumbing and such. Maybe two minutes more thought.. and two-three more bucks in equipment could have prevented the problems.

Just a thought...how much damage to the environment would the few wisps of gas fumes do -V- all the pollution that happens by the manufacturing of all the repair/replacement parts or complete engines caused by one of these systems....in China. . ::)where there are virtually no pollution guidelines. Common sense seems to be on vacation   ::)these days. JMO

Also, Cf moto was gracious enough to send new evap canister and vent hose for free.   I told the dealer to send it back and cap it off on the intake.  I'll run a new vent line. 

Hmmm ...  I wonder if not installing the canister would void any remaining warrantee ...

I would have them set it up as it is meant to be, and then disconnect it at home, just in case you need to  return the machine to the dealer in the future for warrantee work.
