Good day.  Just picked up my new 2016 C-Force 500HO.  Driving at low speed, between 1 - 15 km/h, I find it extremely difficult to maintain a smooth ride while on the trails.  Seems when you try going even 5km/h it keeps wanting to speed up, cannot maintain a constant trail speed like I can on a Arctic Cat 400 or a Suzuki 500.  Dealer said to drive in Low, does the same, your on and off the throttle and with the engine break there is a lot of bucking and jerking, not a smooth trail rider at all.  Dealer said he has never had a complaint yet regarding this, said it rides fine...  Tried an 800, smooth ride at slow speeds, definitely not like my 500HO...  Maintaining a constant 15 or 20+ km/h speed, she rides smooth and if great.

Any one else notice or have this issue?

Lots of complaints about this problem. We are trying to solve it. I'd say within three weeks we should have an answer for you.

I do the slow on my 500 HO EPS, and I haven't had this issue. Just got to get past that small bump before power kicks in to the wheels. I think with practice, and as it smooths in, you'll get there. I'll be honest, I like going a little faster, smooths out the ride over the bumps IMO. But when you are riding along with your nephews, going slow is the name of the game.

Hi there is a service bulletin where they set up the idling speed to correct this problem, you should contact or call your dealer to fix it

Yes, there is a bulletin for this problem,
You will need to return the unit to  adealer
They will adjust the TPS angle Factory setting is around 20% , they will back it down to around 13%-14%
You can also try this your self by backing the idle screw out.

I have had mine out several times and have noticed this as well.  I have put in low but I don't care for the high rev of the engine.  I figured it was the clutch set up since this is my first automatic trans.

I am having this same issue. I took it to the Black Hills last month and I refused to drive it. My son in law drove it. I drove my 02 Sportsman 500 HO. Flawless! I have two other Sportsman EFI models and an Arctic Cat/Kymco 250 utility and they were flawless. I found that by watching the tachometer on my 2016 CFORCE 500 HO EPS (two up, orange) after it warms up the RPM drops off in all gears and in neutral just at or under 4000. If you try to hold it at a certain rpm under 4000 it runs like crap until you bring it back over 4000. You can not tell me this is clutch related. This is a programming issue.
I am waiting until the 1st of August to take it to my dealer 80 miles away which is when the CFMOTO-US head tech gets back to his post and then we all are going to get this figured out...hopefully.
I am soooo happy that others are having the same issue!!!!!

Just wanted to add to the C500HO low speed drivability issue.  I have sold 5 of those so far this year and have another 4 built.  They all do the same thing.  None of the other models that I have driven seem to have this issue.  All of my customers have just gotten used to it.  Checked with CF Moto and all the available service bulletins and haven't seen anything pertaining to that issue.   Definitely tough to get used to.  Though once your moving at any speed it is a non factor.
Feels like a combination of clutching and or fuel.  It is common when you mess with the clutching and jetting on sleds to have an odd or flat spot where the clutching and carburation don't fit together.  There may be a slightly lean or rich spot in the jetting and if the clutch isn't set up correctly it will stand out.   Or if the cluctch engagement happens to be above that spot you'd never feel it.  Hmmmmm

I have been pestering the Head US tech guy for a while now and finally brought it to a dealer other than my original selling dealer. Both the selling dealer and the US Head tech are rather tired of me. There is a fix for it CFMOTO reps say. The Dealer has to wait for a special tool. (Scan Tool) maybe? I am guessing they have to have a problem first before CFMOTO sends a tool out? Goofy. There is no way I will put up with this owning four other different from each other and none of them do this.
