I have noticed that it is getting harder to shift gears.  I have around 4000 miles on it and never seemed to have an issue until now.  I do not have pressure on the transmission at the time. Any suggestions?  Thanks

If it is only harder to shift while the engine is running, then look to the oneway bearing in the primary. Most haven't made it past a thousand miles...let alone 4000. If it makes no difference running or not, change to a lighter (like a 75-90) synthetic gear lube and check the adjustment as well as the engine mounts. Never force the shifter.

Thanks for the advice.  If I shut the engine down it shifts just fine.  Is it a major project to replace
Thtthat bearing.

No. Pretty easy. Will need to remove the primary retainers and slip the parts off down to that one-way, then back on with everything in the right direction and order. Then correctly torque the retainers.
