i would stop when shifting from H to L. but i would think it's ok to shift from 2wd to 4wd .
just let off the throttle while doing it..but not lock 4wd...

Id say you might have some moisture in the wires making it click all the time...

what year is the 600 us model cdn model or europe model...I'd check everything from electrical, to spark plug, might be loose .....lol

I think there is a break in period and will not let you go over certain speed..how many KMs.and does it beep when you let on the gas..
