My new zforce 500 sometimes will quit after I start it then it will not start for 5 to 10 minutes as if nothing is wrong. The first time it happened after about 20 minutes trail driving a error code flashed on the dash it backfired and quit,then it would not start for about 30 minutes.I took it back to the dealer and they say they fixed it. It did it again today,started then quit. I had to wait for 5 to 10 minutes before it would catch and run?

Sounds like it's flooding. Maybe something is cutting the spark off. Wheels had mentioned unplug the harness the starter relay. Check the 500ho posts to see what he said about it. Hope he or someone can chime in on this.

There has been some issues with the main fuse connector getting hot on some others. Gets hot, breaks connection, dies, takes a while to cool down and re-connect then starts.

I have a new Z Force 500 and just barely over a hundred miles on it but so far it has been flawless

If the main fuse was open with being hot than the engine would not crank?

If the main fuse broke contact, nothing would work. It would be like the battery was disconnected. Also keep in mind any fuse in the fuse holder can do the very same thing and just what that one powers won't work.
