Well, these don't have or need cylinder drain plugs so that's not a concern. Per the manual, you just pop the radiator cap and loosen the one drain bolt by the water pump, then when refilling it, there are bleeds on the tops of the thermostat housing on the cylinders that need opened when refilling. Soon as the air is out and coolant comes out of those, shut them and finish filling to the top. Run it long enough to open the thermostat(s) with the cap off, fill to top and recap. Fill the recovery tank between the low and high marks. That's it.

"Now, get back out in that garage and wash your PAIR of CF Motos"
Ain't that the truth....but you do know that mud changes the colors so they're a lot more camouflaged... :)
(Stupid mud justification...)

I usta have a Polaris Sportsman 'Hunter Edition', with the camo body and even camo rims. But .... I lost it somewhere in the woods.  :(   Still out there ... just dunno where.

No one answered my question further back in the thread, but would it be possible to have your own coolant added during setup/prep time so that you don't even need to worry about the factory stuff turning to green jello ?

I would think so..but you might have to pay the extra labor. Just ask your dealer. By the way, they don't have the jelling coolant in them anymore.

Thanks for the quick answer, NMK !! I wasn't sure the jelling coolant was addressed, but its another reason why I am very interested in buying a CF Moto - if a problem is identified, it is fixed the following model year. A number of manufacturers could take a lesson from them and correct their issues as well. I am a firm believer in 'Engine Ice', having switched to that 2 years ago, and prefer the option to upgrade something as important as coolant to these z800s when the opportunity presents itself.
