on two different rides,, the steering get very louse,, the problem is the part that connects to the shaft right under the power steering drops off the gearing. if not for the plat under it, it would fall of.. I loosened the boult and put it back in place.. but it happened again.. has anyone had this trouble and best was to fix...

No but on my Z I found several times the pinch-bolts for the splined connection tend to get loose so I ...well..over-torque them just a little...like 15ftlbs over. Seems to stop them from getting loose.

I removed the pinch-bolt and it was striped.. I replaced it with new one and it can loose again.. I hopping to have another look at it today when I get home. Thinking I may have to put a through Bolt and nut on it ...ill have to check the clearance...

I drilled it out and replaced to with a grade 8, bult and nut.. looking good..
