Had the seat off my Cforce 800 today and noticed one of the brackets holding the heat shield to the frame was broken just letting you know its something to look for

If you come up with a good fix, post it up.

i actually broke this off myself trying to remove this heat shield. bolts torqued way too tight from factory. mount cracked where welded to framed. fixed with enough JB weld that its no doubt stronger than it ever was before 

i got the same problem,(cforce800 2015) broken braquet on the frame for the heat sheild under the seat......  so i make it solder by the garage next to me... 1 year a go and still good.
