Are you still under warranty?

CMI the cdn distributor will & should only work thru the dealer network, it sucks that you are not local to your dealer. It would be nice if you could get a little help with diagnostic's so we are trying to help  :)

Wheels is a very wise CFMOTO guy with connections, as well there are some really smart helpful people on this forum  8) my attraction to this place!

BTW you have been asked about hearing the servo in the front diff trying to work, can you hear it?

I would say if your not hearing it than it has to be a wiring or switch problem. If it we're me, I would get a volt meter and check at the  actuator harness and work back from there.

Just grab the service manual. It's at the top of this section.

Quite often threads like this abruptly end with no solution, or it was resolved & no result posted.

I've looked @ the schematic for this & a lot is going on, confusing exactly what is happening electrically in the three different switch positions.

I sent Wheels a reminder PM, hopefully he can chime in & offer some clarification. Thinking out loud if you cannot hear the servo motor trying to activate either it's bad or not getting power.

Thank you ctdls, i was going to test the actuator or wire harness first, but this wire schematic is confusing as
you said

Thank you, wow when you take the connections on the wiring harness apart, i cant get a good test because my tester has bigger ends on it so wont fit in them . Probably need to go find something smaller to get into the connection ugh!

The fine point leads will come in handy and not that much to buy. Some like these worked good for me.

I had a response to my email request:

We don’t have lots of information how the servo motor really work. I know it’s quite complex but for me, having the wiring diagram is still the most helpful.  There is switches build in the servo motor for witch it’s not easy to diagnose because of lack of info.

What I would do is go by elimination starting to check the power supply at the relay, ground, the wires continuity and the main control switch function. If everything is good then the servo motor could be problematic.

If this does not make sense to you I can explain, it's the easiest way to tackle the issue. If you want to make DC resistance measurement on the servo I've one on my bench so I can verify what you are seeing.

Wow, all over the place on a very simple issue.  Randys, take the actuator off the differential, plug it in, hit the switch, and tell us what happens.  Make sure the key is on and the engine is running in park or neutral.  Does the actuator move?  If yes you need to troubleshoot forward into the differential.  If no, you need to troubleshoot back.  Just like Johnny Cash, one piece at a time.  Provide facts, get answers.
