Ok guys here is the thing.... I have never owned a cfmoto or any other model. So I am new to this all... We just got both of our first services completed 1 week ago. Running good up until that point. Got them back and was out riding yesterday nothing rough just leisure riding, my wife's 800eps would not start right away after shutting it off and taking a break, finally got it started after about 5 mins trying. What could have caused that? Then mine was fine 800ex and I started going down the road going about 55 mph and lost all power to everything machine just shut down any suggestions on what could be wrong? Thanks in advance

My advise-take them both back to that dealer and tell them the problems sense the service. Someone in their shop needs more training apparently.

Bought my z800 last august. So far,no problems at all. It's odd that you would have trouble with both machines after having them serviced. I would definitely take them back to dealer. The problem will be replicating the malfunction for the mechanic. I live in Piedmont SD and bought mine from Rice Honda. They have a pretty good service dept. Are you anywhere near me?
Let us know what they find.

Could be poor fuel or fowled spark plugs. These engines arent a fan of los of idling or putsing (low speed in high gear) and they will load up then fowl the plug.

We bought ours at Rice Honda and had the first service done there, we called them and they are coming to get them today sometime. We are in Whitewood, so yes we are close to you.  Will see what they diagnose.
