Load and rotational mass and..the need to hold the engine RPMs in or closer to it's peak power band. You can keep the stock 25 gram rollers but the sliders would give you that little something extra. Ebay is where most of us get ours but there are other places to get Dr.Pulley products. Scooter Assassins also has a website:

Here's their ebay post for the 24gram sliders.

Only 30x18s. Any weight except you don't want over 25grams as that is the stock weight and under 22 as you need to be 9,000+ feet in altitude. 24s is what you need.

Consider purchasing the stock rollers & reducing the weight, I'm told the inside metal ring is used for weight only. Accurate gram scale & slowly remove material to get the desired weight.

ZF 800 LX Trail, stock for now.......not for long.

B2 with 24gram sliders should do you well.

Hi... quick question... finally sliders arrived to Chile...  I know that B2 means 38 degreees, but does the secondary clutch  have written a/b/c/d and 1/2/3/4 or no ... thanks

What altitude are you at in Chile? I found that my '17 800 Z force really ran out of breath above 9000', much more so than my King Quad 700 with EFI did. By 11,000' it was very slow even at full throttle. I suspect the mapping of it's EFI is not optimal at higher altitudes.

Now that's..strange. I've had mine almost 12K feet on several trips and it was just fine. Some power loss but that's to be expected. I did go with the 22gram sliders just because of that though and B2 but nothing else except the oversized and cool air intake system. Oh..one thing..I did have my modified exhaust which reduced the back pressure quite a bit and leaned it out at lower altitudes. That may have allowed it to run better at the higher altitudes. When you get yours up above 11K, take out the three retainer screws and slip-out end and see if it makes a difference.
