Yes,

Right. L/Y  is fed by L/R through the fuel pump relay, but the current can't flow unless pin 9 (L/Y) is grounded.

The ECU won't ground pin 9 unless pin 15 (Gr/L) has voltage. Gr/L gets it's voltage from L/R via the kill/stop switch.

The question to answer is: Does Gr/L and-or GR/G show voltage?

PM me your email address and I'll send you the wiring diagram.

[/quoteYes,GR/L and GR/G both show voltage with kill switch in run position

My problem seems to be that pin 9(L/Y) never switched to ground

OK. That would imply the kill switch is OK.

Need to focus on the relay.  You should have voltage going into both sides of the pump relay. If not, I would start looking for a break in the wiring or loose/bad connection someplace.

Is the relay passing voltage out to the pump? That's line O/B (Orange with Black stripe).

If there is voltage on O/B and the pump isn't working, then check the ground for the pump (G).

If there is no voltage to the pump and voltage to both sides of the relay, then I would bench test the relay. If the relay works, I would put L/Y to ground and see if the pump starts. I don't know if doing this would have any adverse affect to the ECU but I would doubt it. This would be an "at your own risk" step.

If the pump runs with L/Y grounded, then something else is preventing the ECU from grounding L/Y and you need to expand the diagnostic effort.

I ran a wire from a good ground to the L/R and when the ignition and kill switch are on the pump runs, but, still not firing

Just to be clear, you did check all the fuses in the fuse box at the steering column.

You grounded L/R? Or L/Y? I'm going to guess L/Y.

Grounding L/R should blow a fuse pretty quickly.

Check the ECU fuse and voltage on BR/L (Brown w/ Blue stripe) as that is ECU power (J2 pin 18).

You are correct
I grounded L/Y

Just checked BR/L
It has 12.6 volts going into ecu unit

Good. So the fuel pump loop checks out.

Something is keeping the ECU from grounding L/Y. Could be the ECU (I doubt it) or another signal, or lack there-of, to the ECU (crash related - broken wire, shorted wire, loose connection, interlock, etc).

I'll have to look over the wiring diagram again to see what might do this.

Have you been putting your foot on the brake when trying to start by chance?)

Can you post a picture of the dash with the ignition on?

Do you have pictures/description of the crash damage? Location and severity might give a clue what to look for.

Yes, I have been pressing the brake pedal when trying to start
Also have seat belt connected
Only damage that I can find is the front reaerend is broken loose from the two tabs in the front, which let the reaerend roll back in it somewhat
And the driveshaft going to the front is broken
Universal is broken and a couple times are spread a little
Only place where I can see that the wires may have gotten pushed together any at all is right underneath where there the driver's left foot rides
But as you can see, I have taken the covering off the wiring in that area and I cant find anything wrong there
I'm in the garage now and doing a little further checking on these wires in this area
