The ECU/MIL light isn't on (to the right of the Park light).  It should be. I wish we knew that earlier :-( That explains why engine management isn't working.

I would go around and double check the grounds associated with the ECU.

After that, troubleshooting the ECU is next. That will require a diagnostic connection/software.

Is there a dealer nearby that you trust?  That would be the quickest/easiest.

Or you can make your own by using the info in the previous post.

ECU wire question
J1 pin 14,what is meant by (rollover)?
Generally with other makes, they have a "Rollover" sensor that kills the fuel pump and ignition when it senses the vehicle is on it's side or upside down. Also called a "vehicle down" sensor. To my knowledge, prior to late 2017/2018 CFMs didn't have one of these but..may now incorporate one in addition to the manual kill switch. Just a guess though. On my 2015 that pin is associated with the override switch.

Good question. I was curious about that as well, but as Clark said, and the wiring diagram I emailed shows, it is associated with the override switch.

If you have another machine available, I would say use any and all diagnostic tricks you can think of :-)

Thanks for the quick responses
Reason I asked about that pin was I was thinking maybe if this thing stopped pretty quick when they crashed it that it may have tripped some sort of rollover sensor
I'm busy this morning but as soon as I get back home I'm going to take this ECU and put it on hiss vehicle and see what happens.
If it starts his, then I think I will start removing every ground that I can find and cleaning them, then hook them back up.
I have already sprayed contact cleaner in every place I could find where wires plug together except for the plugs on the ECU
Didn't want to put anything on those 2 plugs and have it get into the unit itself
I'll let you guys know later if I find out anything as I'm not one of those guys who don't come back when they finally get something figured out and the ones who helped them get there are left clueless as to what was wrong
Once again thanks guys
You are MUCH more appropriated than you think in this case, I promise you that

Points of interest:

Pin J1-9 and J2-2 are grounds. Check for harness continuity with the ground.

J2-16 is 5 volt reference and J2-10 is 5 volt return. Actual values might also be interesting.

Headed to my buddy's house right now to try this ECU on his
I'll let you guys know what it does soon as i get back home

Quick question, I'm assuming this thing needs to be bolted down so it is grounded?

Ok,so here's where I'm at now
ECU unit would not start his atv
No fuel pump,no fire at plug wire
Same as it does on the one I'm working on

So,now my next question would be, recommendations for a place to buy or repair this DELPHI MT05.2 ECU unit

Just get a new one. But something caused it to fail...those are pretty tough units. Take a look at the electrical system.
Alpha-Sports.com, CFMotoparts.com and Procorepower.com for places to get a new ECU.

Just for the hell of it, are you gonna take his ECU and make sure it will start the buggy you are working on? Leave no stone unturned. It is Chinese technology not Japanese. Lol 😂

No, I don't want to put his on this one and end up needing 2 of them
My thinking is that I'll get one ordered today or tomorrow and in the meantime I'll check out all the wiring and anything else that has anything to do with the electric system and see if I can come up with a reason for this one being bad in the first place
But, I'm sure this one's faulty, because his atv does the same exact thing when I put this ECU on it,no spark,no injector pulse,no fuel pump
Only thing it will do is let the starter turn the engine over
I will post back and let you guys know if I get it fixed and/or what caused the problem to start with
Thanks so much guys, your help has been, and still is,greatly appreciated
