What specs do you need? To bad was hoping to see all the usa dealers at the factory

What specs?

Hmm... bore & stroke? max HP @ rpm, max torque @ RPM? Weight? Actual engine size? EFI manufacturer? Clutch manufacturer? top speed?

You know, the normal stuff anyone buying something would want to know.

Emersonsc, I don't understand why they told you "No Way" on the 1000. I asked my local dealer about 6 months ago. He said they were going to make one. He didn't know any details except it would be a 1000, but he did know they were making it. Is it because you all different reps in different parts of the country who leak different intel?

This year has been a whirlwind for me so i have put off buying a sxs this season. i wouldnt have got to ride it anyway. I am really glad to see the Z force getting the 990 engine.....

Is this gonna be derived from the KTM 990 CF Moto has been making for KTM ?

No it is a big bore of the 800cc,
If it has Pistons or Tits you will encounter problems.

So is it a KTM 990 or a modified Z8 block as the official press release seems to claim?

Emersonsc, I don't understand why they told you "No Way" on the 1000. I asked my local dealer about 6 months ago. He said they were going to make one. He didn't know any details except it would be a 1000, but he did know they were making it. Is it because you all different reps in different parts of the country who leak different intel?

My horse-shite Intel came from my Sales Rep (who I've had choice words with since then regarding this BS) and two Chinese reps from the factory who came to visit us closer to the beginning of the year after we had several Z8s go down. I was told up and down no way no way no 1000 for 2017. Clearly I was fed a load because the 1000 came to be, and it not only pissed everyone off at my dealership (customers that were willing to wait for a 2017 Z1K who decided to go with another unit/brand) but it put a real bad taste in our mouth as far as CFMoto goes with us. I'm not a fan of being fed lies, nor am I a fan or poor communication, which is clear I deal with constantly with CFMoto. I have several parts on back order for going on months and can't seem to get answers as to why or when I'll see them. Still no parts I was promised months ago to fix the 5 U5 & Z5 units affected by the blow-by issue for my customers.

Where are you guys getting some of this info about Bosch 6.0 and 90+ hp? I've seen 1 article and a video that reflected each word for word. Some of those stats on this thread sound more like the can am xc than cfmoto except they use bosche 54mm as there is no such thing as Bosch 6.0. The article I read stated a "pumped up version of the ZForce 800 power plant" and 77hp and 82 ft/lbs with a dry clutch. I'm not attacking or criticizing but I'm interested in this machine and am trying to collect as much solid info as I can to make the best choice.

Bosch 6.0 is not the intake manifold bore, it's the new ECU management software.
The numbers were revised down to allow the driveline from the 800 to be carried over.
So some guys were quoting off the information coming out at that time.
This is also not the final product. Changes are still being made.
If it has Pistons or Tits you will encounter problems.

I understand the 6.0 management but I still can't find any information on it. Wheels, what you are talking about is pretty specific information, where did you get that from? There was another thread about this topic that was shut down because people were fabricating info and it turned into a huge fight. It just seems like one of 2 things is happening, people are full of it, or there is some information pipeline that like 3 people have tapped into.
