Hi guys.
I have a Z6 where the malfunction indicator have started blinking. It is however not a code as far as I can see, but a constant blink....? I stopped counting after a hundred repetitions yesterday. My dealer has closed for vacation and the distributor did not help. The truck is recently serviced.

I have looked in the OM and the service manual and cannot find any useful info on this situation. Any sugesstions on what this might be will greatly appreciated.

If it is just blinking the same every time, than I haven't a clue. I guess I'm not much help, except for moral support. I would wait to hook it up to the dealers PDA. Does it run fine otherwise?

My 2013 Z6 will also blink and the show "0 mph" from time to time but everything seems to run okay never over an minute so I never worried about it (not sure if I should)..

Every time that you have a 0 (zero) reading in the speedometer you will have a "Failure" signal because there is a mismatch between the sensed RPM and the actual Speed indicated.

Only solution as per Evan Zhan (Manager Tech Support and Service) @ Zhejiang CFMoto Power Co. Ltd. is to replace the Speed Sensor P/N CF188-011300 or P/N 0130-011300.

Wich light is blinking?, you may have a fault code stored in the ECU

You should have fault codes P0321 or P0322 if can can make an ODB2 / ECU reading

Thanks for the sugesstions so far. The behavior changed, the blinking stopped for a while, and then came back and then stopped again. I was advised by the official service guy to bring it in for service, but he did not think it was critical to keep me from using it.

Then the exhaust header split, just above the oxygen sensor. After i got this repaired, there have been no more blinking. I suspect that the header was cracked all the time, the exhaust noise is much lower now. Maybe this had something to do with the error indication, i do not know.

Yep , That was it. If you have an exhaust leak before the o2 sensor, it will throw a code.

Not that I've noticed an it's the spark plug looking one flashing if that makes a difference

The one right next to the 4x4 light? It will blink for 4 seconds then go out after it sees the engine turn over. 11-26 in manual. the info is scattered in there so look over the whole thing. speedo working fine?

here's some info
Test port is by the battery. 3 wires to it(1-21)
purp is K line
green is ground
brn/blue is the mil light

11-26 will tell how the ground k line to get it in blink mode and how to count them
1-27 give a rough idea on the trouble light

Might just be the speed sensor not working right and telling it to stop blinking.

Yes the one by the 4x4 light an there's no pattern or anything it's just a steady blinking. Speedo works fine
