Z6 Only, please start a tread for other models in there section.

In an effort to get some data going, I'm asking for what settings you are using. Please provide roller weight, secondary spring setting, size of tire, high altitude or not, and type of riding. Trail,work, hill climb, racing or mudding ect. Relevant mods would be good to add. Happy or not.Stock is 25g. Standard rollers with B1 secondary spring setting.

23g. Dr. Pulley sliders

Spring,

Tires,
Stock

High Altitude,
No, no mountains yet

Riding style,
Mostly trail

Mods,
Opened up intake opening a little

Like it,
No, shift RPM too high, top end gone. 24g. A1 is my next setting to try. Will regain top end and more back shift is needed.

Update: 24g. A1 was a flop. Let off the gas than ease back on, falls on its face. Going back to stock and start over from there.

Forgive me I am just looking into this and I do not fully understand how the weights and settings affect the machine but I am going to 28" bighorns would I want to try a lower or higher weight first? And what would you recommend for the setting?

I  would try 24g and C1 for the spring. Read through the cfmoto clutching post as it has lots of info there.

Cosmo, what sliders are you using...I know 24g but are they the same 30/18mm as the Z8s?

I'm back to the stock 25g rollers until I can get that dust problem under control. But to answer your question is yes the z6 is the same size slider as the z8. Unless your running big tires on a z6, I would not go lighter than 24g. The 23g I tried were way too light for my stock tires.
