I added the line to the bottom of the canister yesterday. Went for a ride. It fixed some of the problem as it didn't shut off. But it was still still seemed off.  I took of the evap canister again and tapped in one the floor a few times and water came out.  I guess I should have looked more closely when I had it apart the first time.

I ended up running a vent line straight from the tank to behind the drivers seat and capped off the line running to the throttle body.  I went for a ride and was amazed at how smooth the engine ran.  No more vibration and easier to start.  I think it's running smoother than it ever has.  And no check engine light.

On the last page of the bulletin it says if the canister is heavy or if water comes out then it needs replaced.  I haven't checked mine but I just did two rides that had multiple large water crossings.  Guessing it's probably wet.

Thanks, I took mine in Tuesday this week.  The dealer weighed the canister and said it was a lot heavier than it should be so they are going to replace it along with the new hose all under warranty. They had to order the canister, so right now they are waiting on that to come in.

Good to hear.  There are a lot on fb that are also not included in the warranty and missing the vent line.  Anyone with a 950 should check this.
