Hey there.  I think this is the information you are looking for:

https://cfmoto-forum.com/how-to's/cv-tech-clutch-for-1000-and-950-sport/

This kinda explains the clutch and what everything does.

You can do the whole thing a lot cheaper than buying a kit.

I have stage 1-2 and 3 clutch kits and only 28 inch grim reapers that screams with low end torque. You can do it with stock and re-clocking the spring, Depending on your driving habits, you won't cook the belt or wear them out too fast. I installed a CVT belt temp gauge just to keep track how hot it gets when beating on it, with normal use you should be fine. ENJOY YOUR RIDE!

@CrashWithABang, CVT belt temp sensor, there's such a thing?  Where would I find one and how do you install it?
My belt blew up recently (into about 100 pieces) while I was cranking down a gravel road, and I wonder if a belt temp sensor might have saved me as I assume it overheated which caused the blow-up.

There are two types- one measures the air temperature exhausting from the CVT and the other is an IR sensor that takes the actual temperature of the belt. I use the Trailtech CVT temp gauge which just takes the air temp. I don't race so it's good enough for me. Just google CVT temp gauge and CVT belt temp gauge for these. Yes, I found mine gets it's hottest running at full shift-out down roads. I have also added a booster fan for when it gets at or close to 200 degrees F.

I agree the trail tech gives you the actual belt temp and is a better application, I used a different brand cuz I have all the gauges matching on my dash.
