I use starting fluid on my Brute when it's sat a while or it's real cold. Saves the starter.

My 500 has been starting fine all winter. Yesterday was -15 C when I took it for a short ride. The quality of the fuel is very important to prevent a frozen / slushy gas line and difficult starting. I only fill up with Shell high octane 91. No ethanol!

I have a 2016 zforce 500 and the only time it wouldn't start for me it ended up being the stator clutch is what the dealership said it was.

If the machine has the factory 15W-40 oil, that could certainly make it difficult to start. Go with a 5W, some folks in these parts even go with a 0W

throw it on a booster or jump it, seems cfm are very finicky about the voltage, colder weather thicker oil more draw. I would give it a try. Last guy had same issue he jumped it and it worked.
