anyone beefed theirs up?  mine are both cracking and starting to loose pieces, i've found new ones for $100 apiece but i'm afraid they won't last long.  it's a 2015.  thanks

I have cracked almost every foot well I've ever owned.  Without looking at it I can only suggest some sort of guard or skid.

I have always built my own stuff but I will say that i have seen sticks go through HDPE....that WONT happen with aluminum.
I can imagine a world completely at peace.  A world where there are no weapons, no war, and no violence at all.  And I can imagine us taking over that world because they would never expect it.

Made mine from 1/2" thick plastic from a sewer pipe, cut, heated and flatened out. Never been a problem over logs, sticks or big rocks.

mine are breaking from the top down, not something hitting the bottom.  just climbing on and off of it.  the plastic in front of the cleats on both sides is cracked and chunks breaking off.  i'm not huge, 260ish, but it seems like it should hold up better
