I just mounted (2) 2.5 gallon fuel cans on the front and it worked well.  I took the plastic CF Moto rack guards off and mounted the RotoPax mounts to the bare rack.  They fit to the sides so the center piece still stays in place. 

Should double my range!!!

Nice. One thing..from experience, might want to turn them so the fill necks are inward not out there where a post or tree could catch and break them. RotoPax are the best on the market.. but even they don't like getting caught on stuff. Had another brand 4-gallon flat pac on the front rack of my Brute Force once with the fill facing forward like that...clipped a tree and that.. was that. Soo glad it wasn't one of my RotoPacs.

Looks good   I did something similar.  I have since painted the mount plate black with plasti-dip.
