Thanks for replying...but I'm a little confused....the crank spins clockwise ...so I also want the bearing to freespin clockwise? I'm pretty new to this.
Yes, you want the outer race...that's the parts the belt sits against, to not move when the engine is running while you are not moving so..the inner will spin clockwise with the engine... and the outer race be effected and move.
The spragg only comes into operation when the outer race..driven by the belt, tries to rotate faster then the inner race...hence the name "overriding clutch".
