Hello all, please can anyone advise i have a CFMOTO RS6 with reverse acting up ....during the action of putting the atv in reverse it does not activate the reverse light on the dash and does not select the reverse gear .....but ......this is intermittent.....and sometimes works ...only for a short time .....then stops illuminating and selecting reverse gear

Ckeck the alinment of the shifter linkage first. If all is well and it has a problem shifting into reverse but the reverse light does come on when it does, then I would have to say thwe locator is out of alignment and that us usually because of a bent shifter fork in the transmission. And that can happen when someone trys and to place it in another position while still moving.
