Breaks are hung up
« on: September 08, 2022, 07:20:03 PM »
Hi, I am having some issues with my cforce 600 2021 model.
I drove it a few days ago without any issues, and today when I went to go for a ride again I get a warning signal for brake failure. It feels like both the rear and front brakes are stuck, like there is pressure in the breaking system that wont go away. The front brake lever is hard as a rock and pretty much impossible to squeeze in. I could drive it back and forth but you can tell there is something seriously wrong with the brakes, it squeeks and I can feel that the brakes are engaged when slowly pushing on the throttle. Anyone else experienced this before or know how to fix the issue? All responses is appreciated 😊

Crack the bleeders just enough to relieve the pressure then pull the caps on the masters and see the level of fluid and the condition inside. Some have had master plunger rubbers fail and some have had rust. The lever pushes a plunger and that plunger must return all the way back out in order to release the pressure on the lines. If there is a lot of play on the lever, this is what's happening. New master time.
