Got out for another ride, another solo ride. The Jemez Mountains got the first snow of the season Friday evening, more of a dusting than anything else. There was some snow left in the shady areas of the higher elevations. Started out the ride in the mid to high 20's, warmed up nicely through the day and then cooled significantly towards the end of the ride. I started out riding to the higher area, then went lower and ended in the higher again. I saw three deer, all does, at least they stayed a little while for me to get some photos. No other cooperative wildlife. I set out to find a road that I haven't ridden in over 15 years, some of the flooding over the years after the fires made it difficult to get to the area. I was able to find the road after walking around for a while where I remembered it being. I was able to make my way to it on the CF Moto. Once I got through the bad washed out area, it was a pretty smooth road. I remembered that the road had some windmills on it that I wanted to get to again. Mission accomplished. Rode some more familiar area as well and took some roads that I knew were dead ends, but haven't ridden in a while. Covered about 69 miles total in almost 11 hours of riding. Here are some photos.

The better photos of the deer I got.

Little bit of the snow dusting left in the shadows.

All that was initially showing was the cleanest area of glass with the weed growing, thought it was kind of cool.

One of the windmills I remember, this was was spinning, but not pumping water.

An old fan blade from a car or other equipment.
