Another ride in the Jemez Mountains.  Easy for me to ride, no need to trailer my ATV's, just head out from the house.  Today I took the Polaris Sportsman since I just put the Clear Bra material on my 800XC yesterday.  Wanted to let it cure before I took it out again.  Was a nice ride, we got a little rain yesterday so the dust wasn't quite as bad.  Had one issue, I broke the coil spring on one of the front struts.  Made for a clunky ride home.  Oh well, can't complain, the machine is 14 years old.  Found the stump pretty interesting.  I guess I'm easily amused.

I'm amused...or in wonder.. about things like that too. I sometimes see knotting like that half way up a live tree and have to wonder what kind of life has that tree had. Odd on the spring as a guy we ride with once also had a spring break on his 850xp. His was much younger but he was a bit tough on it.

I can't say that I have been gentle with mine, but I haven't been overly rough with it either.  I guess a little too rough though, but it is nice to hear I'm not the only one that has had a spring break.  I have never seen that before.  Some of the stuff you see in nature is very interesting, something that a lot of people will never get to see.
