Went on an almost 300 mile ride yesterday to the Wagon Wheel (Outlaw trails) then rode a few hours ride back to Kairos Resort.

Never heard of it before and it happens to be just a few miles from my home. (facepalm).
Really great riding. Only issue with it is that trails are shared between atv/utv's and vehicles.  Meaning the keeps and Toyotas have turned the "green" trails (easiest) into extremely deep rutted trails.

On the bright side they have a little mud pit with small hill near the campground that is surprisingly more fun to hit than riding the trails were.  Granted the torrential rain has made the trails a cluster of two-way traffic temporarily.  10/10 will go back.

With just throwing the thermoswitch on a toggle, swapping to uni filter, checking all bolts, etc, this Z8 has been surprisingly reliable so far.  (Knock on wood)

Really put it through the torture test during the ride.  The outlaws trails are notoriously rough and difficult. Biggest surprise with the outlaws is that the 2-plys held up.  Aired them down to 7psi to help as much as possible.

I am really surprised with how well the z8 held its own on the more technical trails. Granted I am a mud guy more than anything, I actually had fun realizing everything I said "not happening" to, it worked right through.

Side note, has anyone ever actually needed to use the locker? Lol.  4 good size mudholes, 3 river crossings, and 2 hillclimbs (1 long one) and I never once needed to lock it.  Simple 4wd got us through everything.

That was quite a days ride! Looks like you definitely got into some mud.  I'm glad you didn't have any issues.

Absolute blast.  Wife and I needed a getaway and the weather opened up for 1 day so we jumped on it!
