Hatfield McCoy trails in WV
« on: July 17, 2022, 10:52:55 AM »
I just did a week at the Hatfield McCoy trails in WV. We stayed at Rockhouse Trail system and also rode over to Devil Anse and Buffalo Creek areas.

We had three very different machines and the zforce trail 800 did awesome in the trails. We had a 2018 Can Am 1000 Turbo, 2022 Teryx4 800 and the 2021 zforce 800.

We did about 500 miles and had a great time. They call it ROCKhouse trails for a reason. The Zforce did great and went everywhere with no issues.

Wish I'd seen this before putting an HMT link in a welcome thread.
Glad I can ask a question though:  The photos look like some trails are single file.  Is there a lot of negotiating who waits and who passes on a typical trail, or do they have one-way preferred routes?
I'm asking because, basically I haven't been anywhere or done anything trail-wise.
HMT is far away now, in a few years I might move closer.
