I was finally able to get out for the first ride of the season. A little earlier than normal, usually, the gates are closed until about the 15th of this month, but they opened them earlier this year. About the middle of March. I've been dealing with personal issues for little bit and it's made it that I don't have the time to ride. Anyway, I was able to get out. Started out cold, 18 degrees, but warmed up nicely through the day. I was able to take my jacket off at around 1 or so. There is no snow left up in the Jemez and it is already very dry, even though they got some snow a couple weekends ago. I didn't think I was going to see any wildlife, but towards the end of the ride a group of deer cooperated and I was able to get a few photos. Covered about 67 miles on the ride, it was definitely nice to get out and relax some. Here are some photos.

Ice in the little stream flowing from the pond.

Got a little workout cutting this with my little pruning saw, probably should have taken the time to get out the normal hand saw.

I'm assuming this ring is used for rock climbing? The bolt I guess is where another one was.
