Still waiting on the new bracket piece, so I just did a quick weld job on the broken one and put it back together to at least be able to ride it again. A welder, I am not, so the bracket made it about 1/2 the ride before it broke again. I'm hoping the new part comes in this week. I was able to get out and ride it though, so that was good. My riding buddy was his normal 5 hours late, and he wanted to cover a lot of the area that I covered on my last ride, but he was out of the state when for that ride. He wanted to ride in the area that had been closed for the fire. So it was basically a duplicate of my last ride. It's all riding though, so that works. The mountains have gotten even more rain, so there were more puddles, it is nice to see the "normal puddle locations" be puddles again. It was also nice to see some areas where the springs are running well. I saw some turkeys, they let me photograph them, and a very large doe, but she did not let me photograph her. It was a good ride, covered a little over 70 miles in 14 1/2 hours of riding. Got rained on during the last hour or so of the ride, but not enough to break out the rain gear. The last couple photos look like a sunset in the clouds, but it is lightning in the clouds. The photos make it look much lighter out than it was.

I haven't seen this spring run like this in quite a while.

This little guy jumped on my phone right after the picture.

No lightning bolt though, just the in-cloud lightning.

Great pics. Good to see water running up there again as well.
