Wasn't supposed to be a solo ride, but ended up that way.  Morning started out cold, around 40 degrees, warmed up, then rained and then warmed up again.  Didn't rain enough to make me break out the rain gear though.  Nice ride, covered about 65 miles again.  Drove a lot of roads that I have either forgotten about or haven't ridden, I'm guessing more forgotten about them.  Wildlife was somewhat cooperative.  Saw several deer, including bucks this time.  I was able to get a few photos of them, also a slightly better photo of a hawk this time.  The area I rode, the colors have not started to change, but I'm guessing that will come soon.  Hopefully I can get out and get some photos of the fall colors.  Ran across a nice old ruin as well, took a lot of photos there, but won't bore everyone with them all.

Those are the kinda rides to remember and realey take in the scenery.

I might be wrong but I think those are natural gas blow-off valves placed on long transmission lines. They are every mile or three...I think. That or a very odd well head...maybe a capped oil or gas exploration well.

If I remember correctly it is an old experimental geothermal well site, but I'm not positive about that.

Oh yeah..they did do some of that drilling up there...and its does look to be high pressure.
