Windshield

Looking for recommendations on a folding windshield for the UForce 800. Dealers want $4-500. Are there cheaper aftermarket options? Doesn't seem like it should be that expensive!

I use the SATV Flip on my Z. Don't know if they have one for the UForce. Might check. Also we have several venders that do shields. Send them a PM.

They have links to their web sites. Check with Octane Ridge, Pacific Eagle UTV and SuperATV.

The flip windshield I have from SATV has a setting that holds it out about 3" from closed and most of the time on hot days that just isn't enough..it shoots what it gets upward so not much reaches the passengers. Wide open...yeah..its like having no windshield..and sometimes that's a blessing.  My friend with a RzR has the one with vents at the bottom and although I couldn't feel anything..he says it's like night and day open and closed. Seemed hotter then heck in his to me..but then.. that may just be me.

I looked everywhere for a glass windshield for my uforce 800, even the dealer wasn't much help. I bought the 2 piece plastic with the top half that flips out and a fixed bottom . Not even a year later and I can hardly see through it . Cut out aluminum same size then I cut it out for the glass , had it bent then sand blasted for paint. Installed tinted glass then mounted to the hardware
from old window. Turned out great and way easier clean. If I can figure out how to post a picture I will . End cost was 300 , money well spent for me  .

Last season I had a detail shop that works with films & coatings take a front window that you could hardly see thru & polish it.  He works with the Harley's alot so he has some experience with these.

He did three section's on this window for us to try. He has a film that selfs heals when exposed to the sun, such a rock chip. Also a hard coating on part of it, we will see which stands up best as soon as can get out.

One of the sections is the healing film both sides, not bad to look thru.

My limited seat time likes the half window the best overall.
