Has anyone installed a Uni Air Filter on their Uforce? If so, how did you install it? Mine won’t stay on the plastic coupler.

I know on the Z there is a small lip on one side of the coupler that if you put on the filter side, it won't go in far enough to hold and tends to allow it to slip but, the other way it snaps past the far inside lip of the airbox port and then the clamps hold both sides fine. I guess what I'm saying is....try flipping it around. :)

That little flange in the middle had to bump the box fitting...and the air filter as well.

That does seem to work better. The uni filter seems slightly oily. Do you know if they are preoiled? I didn’t think to order the secret uni oil, but I do have a ton of K&N. Will the K&N work?

No, the K&N oil will not work on foam filters...only gauze filters like K&N. I don't know if the Unis come pre-oiled but I never take the chance...I always use FAB-1 cleaner and oil. See.. it not just an oil like the K&N, its a sticky resin when it drys staying put on all the cell walls. Use any quality foam filter treatment and it's cleaner.
