I was looking at the owners "manual" and came across this. I don't know about any of you, but there is no lock nut and they would indicate turning the shock tube and not the adjuster. Also, they seem to instruct the adjuster is turned the wrong way to adjust preload. Is this just a case of translational error or is the chi-com government screwing with us/just incompetent?

That's just a translation-thing. On ones without the cam-locks just adjusters and lock nuts its fine but yours if it has these can-locks is just more or less spring pressure/preload.

They just can't seem to get their translations right. You will also find different data on the same thing in different places so don't be surprised.
