On my newly purchased UForce 800, after figuring out that it even existed, (the machine did this from day one, and I'm a little irritated about it...) I noticed the EPS was randomly stopping working, and seemed only to happen while decelerating, and turning to the right. Was a little hard to notice till I figured out what it was supposed to feel like. (They don't turn bad without it..) So, after further troubleshooting, I figured out that it shut off consistently while sitting still, engine on, and turning the wheel to the right.
At about 3/4 turn, you could feel the steering kick back a little and go stiff, and the EPS would be off with the EPS light flashing a code of 25 according to the fast or slow flashes of the EPS light. According to the code troubleshooting chart, 25 is diagnosed as "Diffference of Main torque and Vice torque to big", Solution was "Check sensor wiring".
My question would be, if anyone knows, what the heck does that diagnosis mean, and what sensor may be at play?
