2015 uforce ex or not
« on: May 26, 2017, 03:42:16 PM »
So, apparently a 2015 uforce 800 can either be a EX or not. I have been told the EX is wider than the non EX. Does anyone know how to tell the difference? Thanks

I don't think so. The Uforce is only one width that I know of. Its the Zs that have the 53/trail & EX.

I called Alpha Sports and they said their is a difference with the 2015 uforce. They weren't sure how to identify one from the other. If I choose wrong it will cost me a arm and a led in shipping. The joys of living in Alaska. Lol

Well, it does list two different tie rods and it does list an EX 800 as the only UForce 800. We have some dealers on here that may jump in on this.

If your Uforce is 60 inches wide then I would go with ex parts. if it's 53inches I would go with non EX parts. Do you know the width?

I think 2015 they were 56 inches wide, the newer ones are 58 inches wide, maybe that's the difference? I would see if they have them, ask them to pull them and measure, measure yours and you will know for sure.

So, my tie rods measure 7 5/8" and according to Alpha Sports. The non EX tie rods measure 6 3/4". They also told me they have never sold an EX tie rod and would have to order one. I asked them to measure it before sending it on to me. I have to say, Alpha Sports has been very helpful.

they were helpful to me I thought, they call me the next day after placing an order and told me they would have to order the parts. Well I decided to cancel the order since it would be weeks. They canceled it, no problem. But then I just saw on my statement they only credited me back $38 of the $45 order...
