Hi there! Would anyone have tips or tricks to remove the hex screws that hold the front brake pads into the caliper?  I was able to get the screw in caps off, but the inner hex head screw will not budge and am afraid of stripping them.  I have tried penetrating oil and heating with a torch but no luck so far. Any advice is appreciated. If the screws won't come out, I may just replace the whole caliper as are pretty inexpensive. Thanks!

They will be rusted and a SOB. Mine were brand new when I did all mine and still a F'ker. Some I hammered...some I use a small cheater-bar. Whatever you do, use a good quality Allen of the correct metric size. And don't spare the PB stray...or Liquid Wrench. WD is useless.

So, after a TON of frustration, I ended up drilling out the hex bolts on my press and re-tapping the threads. Was just no way to get the old bolts out. Poor design for a caliper that is regularly caked in mud and other debris!

For a longer term fix, I am thinking of removing the mounting plates and fabricating to use calipers off of a RZR, as the disc specs are the same for the front.

Sounds like a good idea.
