Maintenance at Dealership
« on: January 28, 2025, 08:12:19 PM »
I want to get a few opinions on getting maintenance at the dealership. I have a 22 and when it got to the hrs that they recommend to get maintenance done on it I called around and didn't care to pay $500ish to any of them. Now I'm considering getting it done. Not having any issues it's just a good time to get it done because I'm not using it on our property right now. I haven't checked prices lately but they're probably in that range still. Should I do it or not? If not what do y'all recommend I do on my own? I can change oil, filters, and grease stuff. But not going to dig into any guts.

In Canada my dealer charges around that which includes
All fluids and good inspection of everything and they set the valves an change the air filter if you still have a stock filter

Personally if you have never had your valves checked an you don’t feel comfortable doing it your self
500$ is a good pc of mind that everything is good

On the other hand
If there no warranty left I would just change all the fluids myself and
Ask about a valve check/set cost
There’s not much to it
