I recently bought a 2015 cforce 500.  I noticed that the ignition switch dosen't work all the time.  When i play with the key the dash will light up eventually.  This weekend ride, the bike died a few times. The dash went blank and i had to turn the key off and on to get the bike to restart. Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Must be a reason but if you know the switch is bad.. why not put a new one in it?

I have the exact same machine and have had the same issue. The switch is a POS. I swapped it out last year and now I'm having the same problem again this year. I might try to retrofit in another brand, somehow, because it's driving me nuts.

the ignition switches aren't very weatherproof.... spray any type of solvent in there that has moisture inhibiting properties and dissolves corrosion (wd-40)

I have a 2017 500HO with same issue. Have to jiggle the key to get power. Hope the jiggling doesn’t stop working.
