The brakes on the uforce are less than stellar that's for sure. I bled the brakes today it had some air in the system and the pedal feels better but it's still not great. I wanted to confirm the master cylinder rod was adjusted correctly I had seen a few posts that mentioned it being a common issue.

I wanted to know if anyone had some general instructions on how to and maybe how much. The rod is up against the pedal mounting bracket and the lock nut seemed to be tight. I didn't want to mess with it much until I was sure I wouldn't make anything worse. The pedal comes in contact with a bracket that keeps the rod from coming out any further. I assume the rod turns but that's about as far as I got to the assumed part.

Adjust the rod so there is a slight bit of play at the top of the peddle to ensure the master's plunger butts against the cir-clip under any condition.

It looks like to adjust the rod I would loosen the locking nut and then actually turn the rod is that correct? sorry, I am being overly cautious
it does seem it may not be releasing fully. I will confirm again before I start adjusting

Been a while but yeah, the rod itself has to be adjustable.
