Hello,

I bought my CFMoto UForce 1000 brand new in 2022. in the last several months I have been having
a difficult time starting it when bone cold and now sometimes when hot. Engine cranks over but no fire. I don't hear the fuel pump prime.  It seems very random. I am a mechanic so I have tested the fuel pump relay and found out that the ECU is not sending power to the fuel pump relay when it does not start(fuel pump dead silent when cycling key). Sometimes when I clear the codes on my scanner it starts right up. My local dealer is an idiot and said my fuel pump and battery are bad. I replaced the battery and the same thing is happening so that was a waste of money. 

Once it starts its runs and drives fine at full power so I know it is not the fuel pump. Is this a bad ECU or software issue? I doubt it is a software issue because it has been running fine for the last 2 years bone stock and driven lightly over 300 miles. Never modded or touched the ECU.

All grounds and connections are fine. Any help would be much appreciated. BTW my warranty expired so no luck with that.

Update,

I think the safety switches built into the Shifter Columm is acting weird which maybe causing this issue. Thoughts?

I think its a relay-issue but not shifter interlock-related. Test the fuel pump/Aux relays.

Did you ever get this sorted? I am having similar issues with my Zforce 500 ... no prime and no start ..... checked many things .....
