Uforce 1000XL Bed to Cab adjustment
« on: November 20, 2023, 10:04:26 AM »
Just purchased a sport accessory bar and while fitting it found that the bed clearance btwn cab and dump bed is off. Right side is approx 3/4-7/8" depending on measure point and left side is 3/8" minus. The issue is sports bar attachment points needs the 3/4" clearance to miss hitting the rear cabs upper cover. Anybody know how and easy way I can adjust this myself. My rig is a new 2023 purchased in June. Would this be something any cfmoto/dealer can do as part of warranty( just 90 miles on it). I purchased the unit out of state and hate to travel back to original dealership if I cannot do it.

Never mind. Bigger issue on Sports Bar. The bar and frame I believe assumes the bed and cab wall are at 90 deg angle. It is not so even pushing the bar against to roof at cab the mounts on the bed are about 1/2" short. You need some clearance of course. I went to measure other Uforce 1000XL at dealership yesterday and they are the same. After talking to vendor and sending pics they are looking up a resolution.

Post some pics. I'd like to see this "Sports Bar".

After 30 days of waiting for corrected parts I finally got it installed. The issue with bed not being 90 deg from the cab was unresolvable. I did check with two other 2023 rigs at dealership near me and they are the same as mine. So fitment would be the same. They did offer to ship it back and issue a refund. I liked it so much that I accepted that it would need to shift 7/8" towards the rear and hang off rear bed a bit. No turning back once I decided to drill new mounting point holes. Figured a 7/8" shift would work for both sides. After I received parts for attaching cross bar it is very solid. Been out with it on trails and so far it holds up to gathering wood and carring gear.

Photos included are original parts blister pack showing just 2 special proprietary bolts for attaching cross bar not the four. And the original 8 black bolts which were not fully threaded which blocked a full attachment. The 2 special proprietary nuts and 8 new fully threaded bolts were received from them after I sent all pictures of issues to the last customer representative. She said they had back ordered parts and had shipping delays which caused a longer wait than they had hoped for.

Overall I like it. My other accessories from this supplier installed perfectly.
