Thoughts on which would be better Uforce or Zforce
« on: January 23, 2026, 09:08:27 PM »
HI all we currently have several Zforce gen 2 800 trails and sport 4s that we use as small island hire vehicles, they have mostly great and the punters love them ( even with the in cab heat at times).
So we are looking at expanding the numbers of vehicles, firstly looking at the Uforce 10 Pro XL with a few mods to make it road legal or would it be just a easy to go straight for the Pro XL Highland ?
second would be forget the Uforce and keep with the Zforce sport 4 but improve the heat shielding?

last is that are there any interchangeable parts from the Z force to the U force as they are different engines and models?

Thanks in advance to every one as the Forum has been a great source of information and help with all things.

From me I can only offer an pinion based on what some others in your type of business say and that's having a mix of both sport and utility machines with mods for the application is always a good place to start then increase what the customer prefers over time...and the utility machines tend to be 4-seaters as moving people tends to be priority-one. A thought about the heat is that for most CFMs, the cab heat comes mostly from the radiator flowing over and around the font plastics or firewall. Sealing that off...which takes a bit as it involves all the way around... stops 95% of that cab heating. I was able to do this with long strips of 3"x 3" memory foam and a lot of patience.

Thanks for the input,
just an one other question our sport 4s was some of the first i believe to come straight out of the factory back in 2023, has there been much development on them since ?
mainly on the rear drive core as this seams to be one of the weakest areas,  just dont understand why so much play and why the splines are soft maybe a way to save engine wear?
