Welcome to the board. The Z8 does have a close-copy of the Rotex 800 with some slight differences such as a single throttle body intake system and a wet clutch system. This does change the overall performance from the Rotax but the Z is a little lighter. With proper clutch clocking it should give the Commander a good run for it's money and with a few extras like an exhaust and programmer,  even show the Commander the Z's tail lights on occasion.

I would have to agree with GF! I have some good dealer support here and so far the "Beast" has met every challenge and expectation. Nice sitting next to a Rzr 900 and knowing I saved like $6-8000!

Personally I just hate buying the same stuff that everybody else buys.  Which is why I bought a Prowler instead of a Ranger, and this Zforce instead of a RZR.  Of course, saving thousands of dollars in the process is a nice little byproduct!  I don't ride like a wild man, so having the most expensive, durable machine was not that important to me.  So far, this thing is a blast.

Exactly, and with routine maintenance these are built strong enough to provide many miles of fun. Treat it like you want to keep it and it will be fine.
