Hi Folks,

Is there any difference between the 2016 and 2017 800 trails? I've been looking into picking up a new one and the dealer has both in stock with the 2016 at a slight discount. Just wondering if there is any differences, fixes etc that went into the 2017?

There are no real differences.  The way CF Moto works is if they find an issue they dont wait for the next model to correct it.  They do a "rolling assembly line correction".  The fix goes into production right on the line as soon as it can. 

The air filter on the 2017 might be a new style filter but other than that I don't think they have changed anything.

Thanks to both of you for the quick replies. Having trouble deciding if the 2017 is worth the extra $900. Sounds like probably not.

Naaa..take the 2016.

I'd save the $. You get the same warranty.  You can probably negotiate more on the older model too
