Re: the issue... battery was already showing 90% when I put on a charger, and it topped off pretty quick even at just 6 amps.

Reinstalled to the UF1000 and coated the posts.

Started right up, and after about 30 seconds, EFI light went out. Drove 4 miles, stayed out. Hopefully it was just a fluke, and not a returning gremlin.

Have to replace a bolt that was installed cross threaded, and left only half-way in  by either the factory or dealer for the front skid plate.

Looking forward to running this rig.

Well, not a great start. Bought 2022 UForce 1000 March 2%u2026. Put it away as was taking to our place in the north. Put on the included trickle charger a couple times%u2026 in  late May 28th, took it up north and dropped it in garage there%u2026. Rained terrible so didn%u2019t take it out.

Finally had our first weekend. Starts right up, and I go to heat cycle the belt. Odom from 2 miles to 6 miles%u2026 shut it off for belt  to cool for an hour. Starts right up again, hit 8 miles%u2026%u2026. Solid engine / EFI light%u2026.. sweet.

So have disconnected battery, full charging on computer controlled charger.

Hoping it resets and all is good. I%u2019ve read others with this occurring early on, and seen good and bad.

I%u2019ve pulled all the fuses in front and checked them. Battery posts were tight.

Looking for some thoughts / suggestions.

'22 UFORCE 1000 on order.

I will mainly be riding gravel / dirt 2 tracks. Won't be brush busting too much, but I am sure there will be some errant branches here and there.

I was initially thinking about the Hyperformance glass windshield, (especially apparently being made here in Michigan), but with the suggested cab heat I see suggested, I think I will want a tilt out at least for summer. (And the DFK / HardCabs tilt out seems the only GLASS option?)

I don't see discussion about using tear-offs on polycarbonate. Anyone have experience?

Maybe security film and when that scratches, tear off an put another on? Or maybe could layer anyway and do tear offs, but I'm guessing that may require a product just a bit different.

It's not the speed difference that is particularly an issue, but putting an extra 120 miles on the Odom per thousand stacks up some.

(I seem to see suggestions of the '21 and prior models being off that much).

Read someone else had an issue with a "seatbelt interlock", but was not UFORCE 1000.

Your issue is more "respectable" than a top end issue a buddy and I chased in another rig years ago.... Lot the top end... because a THICK rubber mat was put in..... and the throttle pedal did not go all the way down!

Have you found ability to calibrate the 2022 speedo?

Is it perhaps just that you do not have the seat belt fastened?

I believe there may be a switch in the seat belt system.
