UForce 800 / Re: Catalytic converter

Thanks. That's what I thought in looking at it. I was just curious as to where it was in relation to heat output.

UForce 800 / Catalytic converter

As I understand it, these machines have a cat in them. Does anyone know if it is in the muffler inlet or does it not have one? I don't see the typical bulged pipe like my 1K XL has in the system.

Most often its a shifter linkage adjustment. Also, as CFM rubber-mounts it's engines on rubber mounts, the more one shifts between reverse and a forward position, as you would plowing snow, the more those rubber mounts get torque-slammed and the quicker the wear out. When they get too loose they tend to pull on the shifter rod and as the shifter is locked in a position with it's gate, the more often it will be pulled..or pushed.. out of the transmission's detent. Better check them too. Doing this also tends to bend..then break.. the shifter fork in the transmission if it happens under too much load. Let's hope that hasn't happened.
Thanks you sir. I'm hoping it's the adjustment. I've only plowed with it 4-5 times and I don't beat on it. I'll check everything out when it gets a bit warmer. We're going to be in single digits for a week or so.

UForce 800 / Coming out of low
January 04, 2025, 12:43:10 PM
I have a 2021 UForce 800. Machine has been relatively trouble free. The past couple days, it has started jumping out of low when I am plowing. No snow packed in anywhere. It's like I have to slam it into low to get it to stay and that doesn't seem like a good thing. Is this a linkage adjustment or something else? I have to find my service manual to see what all is involved but wanted to check if anyone else has experienced this.

I recently bought a 2021 Uforce 800 side by side, very intermittently it will go through a phase where it will not start.  I can turn the key to on, I can hear the fuel pump power up, the dash board lights up and goes through all it's test, the gear shift moves and I can see the gear display on the dash but if I turn the key to start I get nothing, no click, no sound, nothing.   It seems like if I move the gear shifter in and out of gear while turning the key I can get the starter to hit but I'm not sure if that's connected or just luck but to me it does seem connected to the gear shifter.  Any ideas?
Welcome. I have 2 800's, '21 1nd '22. My '21 was doing this about a year and a half ago and I found it to be a bad relay as NMKawierider says. I got spare relays for mine thru ebay. Do a search for  Auxiliary Relay 9010-150350 CFMOTO,  about $7 each. Swapped out and no issues since

I have installed their kits on 2 of my Uforce machines, a U 800 and my U 1000XL. I can say that I have had no issues with either of them and think that their customer service goes above a beyond. I have posts :) in the 1000XL and 800 about them . I feel that they are a good value

UForce 1000 XLS / Tailgate
June 12, 2024, 09:13:44 AM
Hey all, I have a 24 U1000XL and really like it. The only thing I don't like is that the tailgate is awful flimsy. Seems like you can't really even sit on it without it bowing. Anyone else notice this and has anyone done anything about it? Is there a way to reinforce it?

Thank you. Did you get the 3.4 or 4.4 inch ones? I haven't picked up yet or I'd measure myself

After watching various videos on ways to add aftermarket turn signal lights, here's my approach. I used all CFMoto switches and flasher unit. LED lights purchased through Amazon.com along with metri-pack type plugs. I tapped into existing wiring points for the rear turn signals by the rear light "jumpers", and for the front, I tapped into the plug going to the front lights with matching metri-pack crip blades.
Not the easiest and quickest approach but I didn't have to drill into the body.
Any chance you may have the link for the lights you used for the rear ?

ZForce 950/1000 Sport & EX / 950 Sport 4
February 15, 2024, 02:27:25 PM
Hey all, I am considering the purchase of the 950 Sport 4 and while I know its a new model, what are your all's thoughts on this unit? I have 2 U800's that I am happy with and for the $$, the Sport 4 looks to be a nice machine, about $8K less than competitors. Actually like the looks better than others but hat is but a very minor reason to buy.

Nice to hear.
I was thinking of doing the same on my 2020 Uforce 800 but wasn't really sure where to look.
A little tired of hitting rocks and such that other machines seem to go over.
Just wondering. is the ride any softer or the same as original?

Thanks a lot.
The ride is the same as before. All the kit des is change the distance. Handles and rides the same as non-lifted.

UForce 800 / Lift KIT
January 26, 2024, 08:02:27 AM
Hey all , I just wanted to share an experience I had with Perfex Industries. They have a lift kit for the U800's and I installed the kit last year. Easy to install and with the recommended spacers, it didn't change the way it handled. The reason I am talking about them is I recently had my 2021 serviced and the tools that worked on it stripped the threads on the rt front spacer studs and denied it was them that did it. I contacted Perfex to see what my options were to get me back to a safe unit. I was looking to see if I could get studs and replace myself. Fred from Perfex reached out to me and told m he will send 1 new spacer at no cost!! Including shipping!! Who does that nowadays?!?! Anyway, I just wanted to share a positive experience with a vendor that goes above and beyond. Kudos to Fred and Perfex Industries!!  I have no affiliation with them other than being a satisfied customer.

Here's what I was able to scan. With the drawing in the spiral, it was hard to get a straight scan but hope this may help others

I have a 2021 manual. I can attempt to scan the wiring schematic IF we are allowed to do such a thing.
