CForce 800 XC / Fuse Identification
August 19, 2022, 09:16:08 PM
The white label on my fuse box is faded and unreadable. Does anyone have a pic of the label? I looked in the owners manual but couldn't find it.  I may have over looked it.

Thanks

Mine with 600 miles on it was doing the same thing.  I replaced the IAC valve and that solved the problem.  It is easy to replace it once the air box is out of the way. If you can turn a screw driver and unplug a connector, you can do this and not pay $$ for a shop to. $86 part on ebay.

CForce 800 XC / Re: Valve Adjustment
August 02, 2022, 12:17:27 PM
Finally got around to doing this.  After you take the air box out, it's not too bad. The left "front" one is a PIA.  I must have one that is not quite adjusted right as I've got a slight tick sound so we'll take it down and  double check them all again.
defiantly sounds and runs better as they all were on the too tight side from the factory.

CForce 800 XC / Valve Adjustment
July 17, 2022, 08:54:05 AM
Just ordered a service manual for my used 2019 800XC. Not sure if the previous owner had done the initial valve adjustment or not. Looks like the rear is easy to get to but the front cylinder is buried. Just did a quick look so maybe it's not as bad as it looks.  Any tips or tricks?
Thanks

First time out for a decent ride after doing the mod. 95F heat index 105F. Up and down rocky steep hills in 4x4 and slow going. It preformed excellent!
Constant riding for about 3 hours in woods so limited air flow.  The radiator fan was working hard...but NO hot stall!!

No clunk, just the slamming shut of my sphincter when I give it too much throttle at start off.  Especially in reverse..LOL

I fully agree, these are awesome quads and I get a lot of compliments from other riders that spent A LOT more and got less of a machine.

I ordered an Ultimax as a spare for my 2019 800 XC and our 2012 Artic Cat 450.

Good to hear. I was getting gun shy as we are headed to the Ozarks National Forest is September and was worried about getting stranded.

CForce 800 XC / What is this hose
July 19, 2020, 11:31:45 AM
Is this a breather hose that needs to be and can be extended? I do ride through water that may get to that level.

I have a new to me 2019 800 XC with hot stall issue. Took it to the dealer and I told them about checking the valves and ECU flash.  Their fix..fouled spark plug and dirty radiator.  My quad gets washed after each ride and the radiator doesnt look dirty.  Im having difficult time finding the evap canister. while looking, I found a hose that is plugged off. Could this be the hose that goes to the canister?
