On my 1000 the pressure switch went bad. To check just unplug the connection and jump the wires with the key on, the break lights should come on if not you have other problems. The hardest part was getting a wrench on and getting the pressure switch loose. Also I didn't bleed the whole system after either there was no need to.

I have no problems with mine dragging and there was not much dust when I was in there. But I do agree with NMK something doesn't look right. You will need to buy cvt's clutch tool to remove the bolt and nut.

When I did my clutch nut recall myself there was no washer between the bolt and nut and when I got the new nut it was not gold in color and I may not be remembering it right but the new nut was thinner. I posted a while back about the recall.

ZForce 1000 (2018 & 2019) / Warranty bulletin/recall

My dealer called and said that there is a recall on my 2018 z1000. He printed out all the info on it for me and cfmoto is calling it a warranty bulletin for the drive clutch nut replacement. What cfmoto engineers have found is the nut is too thick and the clutch bolt torque is being applied to the end of the nut and not directly on the fixed shaft which can cause it to loosen and cause clutch failure. It states that not all machines are affected the ones with a series 1 drive clutch are fine series 1 drive clutches have a machined variator cup. Series 2 drive clutches have a cast variator cup and the nut needs to be replaced. The warranty bulletin is WAR-2018-03 and the new nut part number is 0JYA-051013-10000.

The plastic adaptor measures 2.5". I have not measured the rest of the filter but the uni filter I was going to order is UP-6245ST.
