I need someone with a 1000 to get some filter measurements so we can look-up what Unifilter fits them. We need the flange inside or the plastic adaptor's outside diameter, the filter's outside diameter and the filter's length not including the mounting flange.

The plastic adaptor measures 2.5". I have not measured the rest of the filter but the uni filter I was going to order is UP-6245ST.

Yeah, that should be fine- its the same otherwise as what we use in the 800s -4" diameter filter with a 6" length. Looks like the airbox setup is the same so either the ST or the AST should work. Let us know how it fits. Remember that the adapter has a lip on one side that has to be turned around and go toward the engine side so the Uni will clamp down right. I took my lip completely off so it doesn't matter which way I install it. It does fit better without it.

Just buy an uni nu8503st. It is like 2mm shorter than the box. Fits the adapter perfect and is the perfect roundness to almost fill the airbox minus an inch or so around the enclosure of the air box. I cant say enough how perfect its fits. At least in the 1000.
